We are a group of former co-workers who have become lifelong friends. We're passionate about sports and want to share our love with all of you. Our team of five friends, who previously worked in the exciting world of college athletics, is dedicated to creating creative and engaging sports content. Join us on our journey as we grow this brand together!
Hunter is the member of the PBAD crew from Mississippi. Contrary to popular belief, he says they do have Wifi there. And thanks to spell check, most of the words he types are spelled correctly... we hope. Hunter is a lifelong Mississippi State fan. College football and college baseball are the sports he follows the most, and those will be the majority of what he covers for this blog. He also loves to cover the TV show "Survivor," with the hopes of actually being cast one day. His southern accent is elite, according to him, and if you don't believe him, you'll find out while listening to our podcast. His goal with everything he does for this site is to make you laugh while being informative about what he covers. If he can do that, it's a win in his book.
Landon is the most lovable member of the PBAD crew. He is our main producer of the podcast and our former football ops guy. Landon is a Texas Tech and Abilene Christian grad that will provide more Big 12 knowledge and FCS football coverage for the site. A native Texan, he is still on an emotional sports high with the Texas Rangers winning the 2023 World Series. He waited in line for three hours at an Academy Sports and Outdoors the night the Rangers won in order to get championship gear. Every group needs a glue guy and Landon is that guy.
Cameron is the young buck of the group and often gets picked on for not recalling any information before 2001. At times, Cameron has been referred to as "Headband Cam," his alter ego, but that's a story for another time. Cameron is a bit of a homer for his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers, Atlanta Braves, and James Madison Dukes, his alma mater. Cameron has no writing experience and is sometimes referred to as the "pointer-finger typer," but by golly he gets the job done. Cameron also had his appendix removed in the summer of 2022 because his body decided he didn't need it anymore, but that's also a story for another time.
Zach is the crew's resident Iowan. He is a lover of all things Hawkeyes, punts, and Caitlin Clark. He is also one of the biggest Dallas Cowboys fans you'll ever meet (so that sucks), and since he's from Iowa, the Chicago Cubs have his MLB fandom. Zach is also a former sports information director along with being a play-by-play commentator who has called hundreds of games on ESPN. Zach will anchor PBAD's NFL coverage and is helps host the podcast. His bald head is elite, according to him. Don't believe him.
Jordan spent more than a decade working in sports information at various levels. He has chaired multiple regional and national committees, including volunteer work for the Conference Commissioner's Association and the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association. Jordan was twice voted by his peers as the PacWest Conference Sports Information Director of the Year before transitioning out of college athletics in the fall of 2022. He roots for the Texas Longhorns and Texas Rangers but considers himself to be one of few “reasonable” people in each of those fanbases. He enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s a lake or a night by the fire, and he indulges in the occasional cigar. The fantasy waiver wire and picking on Hunter are pretty much daily activities, writing and talking about sports are some of his favorite things to do, and he doesn’t take too many things, including himself, too seriously.
